bathing beauties
Let’s all go to the seaside together, shall we? We can splash in the surf, make sand castles, drink green coconut milk and talk about fragrance!
What scents do you all associate with the beach?

Bronze Goddess by EL. Always and forever. :) I love it.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
ReplyDeleteI love your idea! Dune, by Dior, is 'beachy' to me and great in warm weather.
ReplyDeleteJ-Lo Deseo, Creed Virgin Island Water and Patou Sira des Indes. Agree with Josephine about Dune too, not least on account of the name. It is a sort of "Goth beachy" scent, if such a thing could possibly exist!
ReplyDeleteDune is lovely! I love the idea of a "Goth beachy scent"! I'm kinda going though a mini Goth phase right noe--listening to a lot of Echo and the Bunnymen and Depeche Mode, so the idea of Dune really appeals to me. Have any of you seen the (pretty awful) johnny depp movie version of Sweeney Todd? In it, there is a great 'Goth' beach scene, so I guess it can exist...
ReplyDeleteI love deseo too!
I have not tried Sira des Indes, alas!
I associate Jean Nate' with the beach. When I'd come in from my Full day on the beach and shower, getting rid of all the salt, I'd apply Nate' --so lemony and clean smelling. We'd head back to the beach and watch the sunset drinking our daquaris and eating Ritz crackers topped with gouda cheese and a slice of bread and butter pickles.
ReplyDeleteHere's to the daquari! A toast to you all!
Dotti
The afternoon treat and sunset watching sounds absolutely perfect!
